listed as a widow, which establishes that she never remarried.

Note: The papers of the estate of Ewing McNutt, brother to Jane, indicates that
Jane was a "nonresident heir"; by implication, therefore, she was still
alive in March 1829, and not living in Indiana at that time; also, at
that time, she was married to Michael Blair. Parke County, Indiana
Clerk's Records, Probate Order Bk. 1 May 1833-Sept. 1838, Page
